KnowMe, Andrew Jarecki Makes Everyone A Film Director

Award-winning filmmaker, musician and tech entrepreneur Andrew Jarecki joins the roster of keynote speakers at Northside Content this summer.

We know Jarecki best for his HBO documentary series, “The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst,” in which he elicited a shocking off-camera murder confession from real estate heir Robert Durst, whose life was the inspiration for Jarecki’s 2010 feature, All Good Things starring Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst.

For his talk at Northside Content on June 7th, Jarecki will discuss his new obsession: Translating the Language of Video. Just like written or spoken words, video, too is a language — and arguably our most powerful one. But only recently have ordinary folks received the tools necessary to speak it naturally.

The award-winning filmmaker is also the founder of KnowMe, which allows users to capture, edit, and create videos on the go; mixing photos, previously recorded video and other source material from the web. Jarecki will discuss how the editing process is essential to unlocking video’s full potential, along with how the way we see video tomorrow may be different from today’s view.

Uncovering what’s next in original video content; Northside Content is 2 days of interactive presentations, roundtable discussions, Q&A’s, and meet & greets with cutting edge content creators, brands and the industries around them. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear Jarecki’s keynote on June 7 at Nighthawk Cinemas in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Get your badge here!
