Since it’s inaugural run in the summer of 2009, the Northside Festival has grown from a small DIY-affair to a full-fledged discovery festival taking over 50+ venues in Williamsburg and Greenpoint and featuring over 350 bands. Past musical talent includes Guided by Voices, GZA, Of Montreal, Atlas Sound, Beirut, Wavves, Jens Lekman, Olivia Tremor Control, Theophilus London and many, many more.Last year, we expanded from Music, Film and Art to include a two day Entrepreneurship festival which featured more than 40 lectures and educational sessions. We like to call it NExT.
