Last year, Williamsburg’s Nitehawk Cinema packed the house with screenings of short films and features by some fantastic as-yet-unknown local and international artists. This year, it could be you!
The winning feature and short films will be awarded cash prizes, a filmmaker service package courtesy of DCTV, and more! Northside will also host a special screening of the winning films with an after-party party to celebrate our award-winning filmmakers and their crew. That’s over $10,000 in value and services! Let’s break it down, shall we?
- Northside cash prize: The winning feature will receive $500 and the winning short will receive $250
- Both winners will receive an $800 certificate for DCTV services (Equipment, Post, Workshops)
- Both winners will receive a screening at Nitehawk Cinema hosted by Northside Film
- Both winners will receive a MotionMaker sign up with Dailymotion
- Both winners will receive two full page ads in The L Magazine announcing their wins
- Both winners will receive a one year IFP/ Filmmaker Magazine subscription
- Both winners will receive a 30 minute mentorship meeting with Dan Schoenbrun, IFP Programming Coordinator
- Both winners will receive a ticket to a 5-day Filmmaker Conference during Independent Film Week
