One of the highlights of VH1’s involvement is their “Make A Band Famous” contest. Over the course of June 12th, 24 bands will compete for a chance in the spotlight, performing for a panel of judges that includes Natasha Bedingfield and the composer of the new film Palo Alto. Along as a spirit guide will be renowned performers such as Travie McCoy and Chris Daughtry. The FREE competition finale will take place at Red Hook’s Liberty Warehouse, and the winning band will perform that night at the Knitting Factory along with other musicians. The “Make A Band Famous” winner’s concert will take place tonight, June 12th at 8pm at the Knitting Factory, and features Fort Lean, Syd Arthur and Kevin Morby. Make sure you check out all the music entertainment provided by VH1 tonight at Northside. See you there!
